Listen to the music on the radio: what are they singing about?
Watch music videos: how are the people in the videos dressed and what movements are they making?
Watch TV shows and movies.
Read teenage magazines: what are the articles about?
You will see, hear, and read about sex, sex, sex.
These things influence children.

They wanna grow up as soon as they can and don`t think about consequences. And it probably has something to do with how they were raised. Like two of my who were allowed to do certain things that i couldn`t do and whose parents had them at a young age, are pregnant. I was raised in a miitary environment though so i know a little better.

Sex is glorified everywhere kids look. On TV, music, mags.....They need good, solid knowledge. It can be great...when you are ready. Girls are more likely to get attached, and then have their heart broken, not to mention the host of STDs and risk of pregnancy. It's not a game. It can have serious consequences. Parents need to step up and educate their children.

because kids nowadys r exposed to the media too much!! they see thier celebrities drink, smoke, having sex, married for a day etc etc...like britney spears for example.
so when they go to HS,teenagers talk bout sex..so they wanna blend in..so they start having sex at the early age..they think loosing thier virginity is cool, and theyre proud of it.
and the other thing is tht most family dont practice religion in thier house.u see parents nowadays, busy with work work work...so yeah..i think u get my point..
personally, i think sex education is just...encouraging kids to have sex.

Well, kids are reaching puberty earlier and earlier. 15 used to be the average age for boys, but now it's 13 at the oldest.
