Those shampoos wont change the color of your hair but it will brighten it and make it shiney. It aso depends what shade of red you are maybe you want to tone down unwanted orange,or just "perk up " your natural color. Either way its not going to do anything drastic but it will make your color shiney, but so will any good shampoo and conditioner.

hi,
I am a proffesional hairstylist and the shampoo could work but it all depends in how light or dark your hair is naturally.
if it's light depending on the shampoo you get but it would have to be something on the copper tones.( too much red could make your hair appear darker)
If it;s dark you can use anything in the red/red tones. or even copper
Remember this is just a temporary color and it will fade out of your hair. I recommend shampooing with it once a week.
But read the manufacturers instructions.

I hope this helps

I'm have natural brown hair and I bought some shampoo just for brown hair that said it would make it stand out more and it did somewhat, make it somewhat brighter and shinier, I think the one for red heads would make it stand out a little more...worth a try...
