If it doesn't have anything weird floating in it, and it tastes like water aka nothing, then I'm fine with it.

Unfortunately my tap water is from a well, and it has a bad sulfur scent and taste, so I have to use a Brita filter... but then it's fine. I don't go so far as to buy bottled water, and I still use tap water to shower and brush my teeth and for cooking if the recipe calls for boiled water. But for pure drinking, definitely gotta get that rotten egg scent to go away first!

Hi! Very important. It needs to be pure enough in taste that you'll drink it. Clean enough looking so you don't focus on strange particles floating in it. What kind of question is this. How important is it to you? I sure hope you don't drink nasty water! If you must boil it! :P
