It doesn't matter what your friends think, it is your life and if you love her then be with her. You are not a wimp. Show her you love her by telling her. Then take a romantic walk and have a nice dinner.

first ild like to say your mates need to grow up. they will be the exact same when they find a girl they really love. your not a wimp you are exactly what female are looking for. you could suprise her with a nice romantic dinner. suprise her with flowers. see its a bit hard coz i dunno how old you are but if your old enough and been seeing her for a bit, you could invite her over cook her dinner (find out her fav meal) have the table with flowers on it for her to take home after dinner you could run her a bubble bath with candles round it and tell her to take as long as she likes to relax and while shes doing that clean up the dishes and when she's done you could have a movie that you have rented (again find out what she likes) and sit down on the couch cuddling watching the movie. also you can tell her you love her.

First of all, let your friends know that they should respect your decision to be with this girl.Also always be respectful to her and honest.Integrity and honer seem to be one of the biggest things lacking in men these days if you can prove you possess theses things I have no doubt she will understand your feelings for her,then you can just pick the right moment to actually say it.
