All dogs can have allergies. How is the dog acting? And to what?

it depends on the individual dog, just like with humans. different people are allergic to different things same in dogs. there are some breed specific health problems with different breeds but this still doesn't mean that all of a breed will have a certain health problem breed specific to them. check out a web site that is for sharpei information. and ask your vet if you have a sharpei that is having allergy symptoms.

yes my son has a sharpei mix and he has allergies, the main one is to soy product, it causes his skin to break out in a rash and he gets a very bad almost dead smell to him. he has to buy dog food without soy and bath him very often

no but it's hard to take care of it because it's fat and some of the skins are covered with the fat or something like that, and you have to clean it or it could get cancer. my family used to own one black sharpei, and it's now dead because of cancer. if you want to buy sharpei, don't buy the fat one. i know the fat ones look cuter but it's harder to take care, buy the one whose mother or father is a champion. and that's all i know about sharpei, they're expensive. hope this helps you...

all dogs have allergies, but he might also be sick, is your dog restless, or lazy, or loss of hunger? they might be sick, but allergies, will also slow your dog down, so it could be either or.
