No one is perfect, he will not be either. I have a friend that was recently married for the 1st time, she was 47 years old. So the age thing does not matter. She said she had not met the right one yet and she was not going to settle for just "any" man just to say she has a man, or marry just "any" man, just to say she is married. Her advise is to learn to be your own best company, live your life to the fullest, fill your life with good things, good friends, laughter and be the best "you", you can be. Eventually the person that is for you will come along. And remember he will not be perfect, no one is. Don't settle. It may not be time for you to be married. Don't marry just because you are 29 and want to be married, because of this feeling you may marry some jerk and live a miserable life, rather than be patient and wait for that special someone who you are suppose to marry.

A lot of people do stupid things because they are single and lonely. Keep being picky. After all you've been through, marrying the wrong person would be disastrous. I can tell you that when my wife and I started going out, we always assumed we would marry. It was as if we knew each other our entire lives even though we just met.
He doesn't have to be perfect. He just has to be right for you. This is a total cliche but you will know when you meet him.

Oh, NOOOOO! You're going to be 30 and your life will be over soon! Jump under a bus now! Seriously, don't stress about it...the right one will come along when you are both ready! Don't think you have to be married by a certain age; lots of people thought that way and married the wrong person, and now they are miserable. You're worth waiting for!

Just wait for Mr. right. I got married at 29, for one year now and it never crossed my mind to get married just because I was getting older.

And what if the perfect guy is waiting for the perfect girl, and you, as you say are not. So he won't be really interested in you would he?
So, wait till you're 30 and maybe you will not be so picky then.

Why is this a bad thing???? You need to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with anyone else. Realize that you don't NEED someone to complete you and then maybe you'll be ready for marriage - AND don't forget the 30's are the new 20's - you'll never have a chance to have more fun in life...live it up!
