God called the animals to Noah, so i think they still had God's peace upon them when they were on the ark to keep the prey safe and the predators from goin crazy. it would take a large amount of food to feed those animals, unless God didn't give them an appetite while they were on the ark. i was believed that at some point all the continents were together. so the animals had nothing but land to travel by.

God assisted Noah with a magic wand, which Noah then passed on to Elijah and Moses.
Look, there are no reasonable answers to these questions. Either accept the story and the necessary rediculous explanations to the problems, or reject the story itself.

according to the holy bible, new international version: in feet(approxomate)
450 ft. long
75 ft. wide
45 ft. high
that's the size of the ark. sounds more like noah built an aircraft carrier. a ship that big takes labor and organization to build. specialization and division of labor too, no matter what the building materials are.
how could so called primative people who wrote this account down have even imagined a sea going vessel that big, if there had not been one?

I believe we cannot compare Noah generation of people with human right now, as lot of things has changed and our human nature has become more and more weak OR may even smaller in size due to lot of reason like poison of nature food or river water and many other fact.
Just like how human build those wonders of the world, all of those are great project that some even not some easy job if using latest technology of today.
IF God want Noah to perform such a works, he surely can allow Noah to communicate with those animal, just like that donkey that can speaks in the Bible...As if you using our normal understand to see Noah and his animal, surely it is not easy to understand lot of detail and many question will be raised in our head.
Just like when Adam naming those animal in this world, if he cannot goes deep down into water or communicate with animal then surely he can't perform such a works...Plus we don't forget Adam seem to be the original copy of God's image, so we surely can't compare with today human so limited abilities after thousand years of changes :)

I recall watching a Discovery doco where scientists showed that an ark made to the specifications described would break apart under its own weight. Clearly it's mythology and shouldn't be taken literally. That story came from earlier Sumerian mythology called "Epic of Gilgamesh", which is 1500 years older and the events are strikingly similar.

I think it was more of a morality tale than a true story. I might have really happened. I wasn't there. But who was. Like with most other attempts before, you can't use science to prove religion. They seem to cancel each other out. Like I said , I think it is just a story, but one with a good moral.

what is your obesssion with attacking Christianity? if you think it is so wrong, why do you insist on continuily bring it up? i do not bring up 2+2=5, because i know it is wrong. so either read the new testiment yourself, make your own choice, and respect the beliefs of others.
