Isn't God supposed to be the creator of the whole universe? When we talk about God we are only botherd about his interaction with humans, if he created all creature as equals, how can he sit so comfortably when millions of animals are butchered everyday to feed humans. Did he created animals, trees, rivers, mountains, air only for the pleasure of man?

If God created animals for men to kill and eat, why did he made so many species whom we cannot eat ? isnt it just a waste of effort, he could just have made buffalos, cows, goats, chicken and small fishes- thats it! Why is it that so many countries put so much effort to preserve the wildlife, they can give guns to people to shoot all animals and chew them up!

I asked a church leader once 'if animals went to heaven'. The leader said 'no because the Bible doesn't say they do'. She was probably right. The Bible doesn't say animals go to heaven. BUT it doesn't say they do not go to heaven either.

We cannot answer what animals know or are being told by God. He may speak to them, reassuring them their efforts will not be forgotten. However because only humans can read the Bible, then it's only concerned with Humans really. As I said God may talk with each and every animal everyday.

When animals are butchered and plants cut down, know that it isn't God's will to do so, unless His Word permits such things. But the 'evil' things humans do to animals and plants are their own decisions and by them they will be punished for destroying God's earth. In His Word (I do not have a Bible with me right now so I can't give the exact verse.) But in His Word, He says "Five sparrows are sold for a few minas (amount of money.) And not one of them is forgotten about God."

And animals do have a soul and spirit. The Bible says they have a soul and that they have a 'breath'. In many areas, the Word refers the spirit as 'breath'.

I hope I helped. In Jesus Name. Amen.

God gave man dominion over the animals:
Genesis 1:29:-30
Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

you want your real answer.... its because god didnt create humans nor anything on this planet its logical its called evolution and makes more sense about some creator! as i can see your curious and you make good points there are such gods supurier beings to humans but they do not rule us nor do they want to hurt us we come to earth to learn lesson and hardship physical body does not matter the spirt with in does it is who you are and when you die you will find that out as for us eating animals thats just living on earth we do with what we want how we want as we think we are the most supurier which really isnt the case at all but theres so many people that are very narrow minded towards this sort of thing and by the way hell doesnt exist! your in hell!

1st of all, not all creature are equal...Animal been created as part of food or company for human, IF not then what we eat everyday? or you want God to create a machine or something like star trek? then surely all human everyday life will become lazy or meaningless.

Even we never know the original concept when the world 1st been created about human food and animal system, but today part of animal has become food or enjoyment of life.

Indeed it is sad to see animal been killed, but what will happen when animal has become too populated? because they type are so many then you may not ask this question anymore....OR you want God just created human? then human become food for human...is this better ideal or better we eat animal as food? Hehe ;)

God intended for some animals to be for man's food, others to be maintained by man to help control the ecology of the planet. But when sin was introduced through Adam and Eve, it brought a certain inability to control the ecology through man being unable to control the rage of certain animals. Imagine, before sin, Adam could've walked up to an alligator and petted it like a house cat with no fear, because there was no SIN existing to induce fear! God intended for this world to be far different than what it is, but He's allowed it to go this far by His mercy and by his desire to see as many of us saved from our sins by receiving His gift of salvation made possible by Jesus' death on the cross.

God created all things and put man in charge. In Genesis, God created the animals and plants and humans to populate the earth. He also gave man guardianship of the animals. Before the great flood, man only ate plants. After the flood, God gave man permission to use animals for food. He would not be upset because he gave us the animals and plants to use as we needed, but also gave us the responsibility of caring for them.

God created man after His own image and wants us to choose to be His children by accepting Jesus, His son as our personal savior. God cares about every bird that falls out of its nest and all of His creation. He just put man(people) in charge of taking care of the earth. God created some animals for food, but I choose not to eat them, and that's OK too.

No. The Book of Genesis in the Bible says man could eat the animals, and gave man power over them. Also later, he laid out what animals were meant to be eaten and what were not. And still again, in the Old Testament, blood sacrifices were needed to atone for sins (this went out with the final blood sacrifice given to us by Jesus). We were not created equal with animals.

God created humans in his likeness. No other creature has a soul. He clearly states in the Bible that animals were put here for food and sacrifice. After the crusifiction there was no need for sacrifice.
