Certainly go into the honor's classes. While it MAY be a little more work and a little more challenging than the typicall classes, it will only prepare you more thoroughly for college and your future - nothing in life comes without a challenge - so, step up to the plate and see what you can actually do!

From personal experience, I would stick with the honors classes only if you plan to try admission to an exclusive school, and that is unless your grades start suffering. For scholarship purposes, it is better to have the higher GPA without honors.
While honors classes may help you win admission to more exclusive schools, if you plan to go to you state school or such, then I would not bother as once you get into college, the only thing the honors classes will be is boring party conversation.
My advice, stick with regular classes, then ace them, graduating with a higher GPA!

If you think you can handle it then take it, its more work but if you are in H.S. then colleges like to see that you have taken honors classes. It makes you more competitive. If you are already in college, then there is no need to take honors courses, its just additional stress, for the same work that regular classes does.

Honors classes will be a benefit to you in the longer term as they will demonstrate your motivation, drive, ambition, and willingness to take on challenges. They will also be viewed in a brighter light when applying for college admission and will factor into a higher GPA. Go for it!

honors classes of course - AP (Advance Placement) classes specifically, your grade counts as 1 higher in these classes.
For example if you get a B in an AP class it equals an A.

then you should def. go to Honors. it looks better on you as a student when you say that you are in Honors rather than like.. a regular/cp (college prep) class. take gifted if you can... its another step higher than honors and its def. harder but its worthy.

it will get you much further and some places will only accept honours students for masters programs (are you talking high school or university?)
