I think the whole reason for the current war is what happened to America on 9/11. So sad that so many people have died and contiue to be staring at death each day. I hope that it will be over soon, no one knows for sure, but i wish it will end soon. Too much bloodshed already.

If you mean the Iraqi war, probably within the next 6 years. The next President will declare victory before the end of his first term.

If you mean war in general, it won't end until humanity ends probably, unless humans rise up against their masters (aka states) and live with self governance. Even then, there will probably still be small battles, just not big wars.

Well, some have been postulating since 1948 [when the U.N. gave Israel back to the Jews] that it's the precursor to Armageddon itself! With that in mind, I guess it will be until The End of the world!!!

Reason? Religion and Real Estate.

The three major religions [Judaism, Christianity and Islam] have been/are fighting for the same piece of land that doesn't belong to ANYONE anyway, except to the Almighty Yahweh/God/Allah...

And to think that we've all been told for thousands of years THOU SHALT NOT KILL... but yet... If that's neither IRONIC nor POETIC JUSTICE, I don't know what is.

Former President Clinton removed U.S. troops from Somalia in 1993--a decision that Osama bin Laden would later credit with emboldening his terrorist fighters and encouraging him to mount further attacks against the U.S.
So you see, we cannot knuckle under.
The war will end when all the terrorists are dead. You'd want it some other way?
