Zingers have coconut and rasberry flavor on the outside. Yellow cake and cream filling on the inside. A twinkie is all yellow cake with cream filling.

Zingers are made by the Dolly Madison Company and have a denser cake and a thick frosting on the top. Twinkies are manufactured by the Hostess Corporation and are made from "sponge cake" which is like a heavy angel food cake. They have no frosting on the top and are quite a bit lighter.
Dolly Madison used to sponser all of the Charlie Brown specials too.

twinkies are just twinkies--zingers come in chocolate with
chocolate icing and raspberry with coconut topping,
zingers are much better also.

Ziggers are different because they have flavors on them plus they have a different taste. They go stale quicker. More cakey like.
Twinkie are plain, white cream filled spongie-like and have a shelf life of like till the end of time! It's amazing whatever crap they make them out of they last much longer that most snack cakes! Scary!
