I'm a Hindu. The path of Bhaktiyoga (path of devotion that leads to union) actually teaches that we should view ourselves as in a relationship with God. That said, for me God is my friend, companion, and yet also my teacher and guide. (it may surprise you to know that Hinduism includes not only parent, friend, lover, sibling, etc...but also child and even enemy. You could have a relationship in which God is your child. And as far as Hindus are concerned, if God is your enemy, then your mind is still focused on God, you are still consumed by God basically and your mind being so focused on God always allows God a way in).

He is my guide, my courage, my strength. I respect Him and His choices for me, even though I don't always understand them. I suppose I would think of him as Father, but even more Father than the one I had in human form, because He would be the Father to us both.

It depends on the occasion, in my life. Depending on what sort of mood I'm in, or what I seem to be overlooking, I will vary things among those you mentioned, and also husband/bride.
They are all true to some degree or another, but my two common ones are:
Husband/Bride
Master/Slave.

I'm not sure how much sense this answer will make, because it is MY definition based on MY understanding of Deity and MY relationship with Deity, but here goes ... Simply put ... "I AM a part of, and not apart from." ~ Peace & Blessings ~

He is my Father, I am his daughter. Just that simple. I go to Him to share my successes and failures and to ask for wisdom and guidance. He loves me unconditionally and forgives me always. You can't get any more peaceful and secure than that!
