I would try myspace and you can send out a bulletin and there is bound to be someone on there who can help you out. There are millions on there, but I am amazed at how connected you get in a hurry and it is totally free.

If you don't care about religion then you can go the following link... Our church is big on families so we do alot of genealogy keeping..It might be a good place to get started. It will tell you if they are deceased or not and also last known place of residence. It helps make the searchuing easier if you know the birthdate and ful name of the person.

I am also searching for a lost family member...my half-sister from my dad's first marriage. Here's a suggestion...if you have any information such as name, birthdate, date of birth, etc., check the newspaper in the town of residency. They may have some information..good luck!
