How do you keep a converation interesting?

I find that I can always start the conversation off right but as we get further along the conversaion either becomes one sided, boring or just a bunch of rambling. Is it just me?

Ask questions about your date & get the date to do a lot of talking about self. People are always interested in themselves. But don't clam up the whole evening either: you have to talk a bit about yourself too. Just not too much or it can be overwhelming.

Body language is a very powerful tool. Apparently, 80% of what you understand in a conversation is read through the body, not the words so when you're talking, pay close attention to how the other is responding. If bored, change the subject.

Try to find out what the other person is interested in and talk about those topics. Have the other person talk about themselves and use that info as conversation topics. Some people are good talkers and others get nervous and run out of things to talk about. Talk about what you know and ask about what you don't know.

I start up small talk. And the last thing you want to do, but sometimes the only thing to do is brag about your self and or your day.

Just make fun of all of the people around you, but make sure that she's not related to anyone there. That's always entertaining.

Try to find out what the other person's interest r, then talk abt it.....
you'll be suprise that they can actaully talk non- stop.......later they are done......try this spices.....What really? How....? Then....?.......etc....
