Like beans and rice, and cakes and cookies and brownies from scratch? Or do you just eat cat food?

"Broke" means you are down to zero, with NO MONEY. Now, how the heck are you going to go out ANYWHERE when gas is $4.oo a gallon and you have dumped your last pennies and small change into the coinstar machine in order to get your last few bucks?

I don't know what egomaniacs eat but I found when most smart people are broke they don't go out to eat.One meal made with dirty hands and bad food at a I-HOP or home cooking for a week.

I know that I dont eat as much, and it really makes me evaluate everything that I buy. I think more about what food I am putting in my body. But sometimes being broke can mean eating top ramen or cup o' noodles. Those are not healthy. I remember this when I am broke. And I try to cut out some meat at times. I dont mind having veggie meals.

I don't eat healthy period. So, I can't answer this question the way I should. I eat beans and rice no matter if I am broke or not. It's the easiest and quickest thing to make.

No! We ate allot of beans and rice, but we found things out there that are cheaper than veggies. Things like processed foods and the so called low-fat foods. Not as healthy as they say they are.

Vegetarian food = NOT healthier than meat! You CAN NOT get ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS from vegetables -- soy and whey included -- or ANY sort of supplement.
Man was made to be omnivorous, eating equal amounts of meat and plants...why else would we have pointed K9's and serrated incisors?

Okay what kind of ego maniac thinks like this...when your broke you eat just like everybody else. You go to restaurants, but you learn how to manage what you have and try not to go over your limit. Just because you are broke doesn't mean you have to stop what you're doing, but you just have to manage how often you go out to eat.

I find that we eat very un healthy because we are broke...see, cheep foods are usually very high in calories, like roman noodles and mac and cheese. and healthy foods are expensive for example lean meats and fish.
