My fellow Christian Sister in the Lord - you have taken a sledge hammer and nailed it perfectly square on the head! It gets so frustrating explaining over and over, but I do so out of perseverance and love for God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - who are one being in three parts - just as you and I are women, daughters, and females. How much more one can we get and still have three parts - we are body, soul, and mind - we are three parts one flesh - Thank you, thank you thank you for the references you've provided to this much needed answered question.

YOU MAY FIND THIS INTERESTING

Now here are a couple of Bible texts to play with your bubble...Read these then come up with logical reasoning...

John 1:14 - the word became flesh? From the Father?
John 1:18 - no one seen God, but people seen Jesus. How can that be?
John 14:28 - The Father is greater than I... I thought they were equal?
John 17:3 - the only true God, and Jesus, who he sent? Why does it seperate the two?
John 20:31 - Jesus Christ, the son of God

Keep in mind that all these texts are from the same writer from John 1:1. Is he contridicting the way he started his gospel by these texts?

If you look at other translations from John 1:1 you will find that they may say... the word was devine...and a god was the word...and godlike was the Logos... interesting huh? Why would other translators render these phrases like this?

Other references - if God and the son were the same and equal in power then why would matthew write this...Matthew 24:36 - no one knows that day but the Father. Not the son? Why not? Aren't they equal and the same? And what about the Holy Spirit... shouldn't have Jesus said that the Holy Spirit knows that info also, if it really is part of the trinity? And where does the Holy Spirit mentioned when Jesus does actually state that he is "God"...

Just some things to think about, if not sure investigate...

Yes Jesus is God and that's the word. You have read it as it is written, go back to John 1:1 and finish reading and the scripture will tell you that the word became flesh. God created himself a body to come to earth to dwell among men; and that body HE formed was Jesus His only begotten son. Jesus was flesh; God the Father was and is Spirit. Jesus walked on this earth for 34 years, even at a young age he was teaching the word of His Father who is God. If you read in John it will tell you when John the Baptist baptize Jesus that a Dove from heaven rest upon him. Jesus said HE and The Father was one; that's because God dwell in him. They are inseparable when you receive one you receive the other. Jesus said no one comes to the Father except through him. Jesus is God and Jesus was God in the flesh the word said He dwell among men and men knew Him not and some still don't know him. Father, Son, Holy Spirit three in one total package known as the Trinity each equal parts of a whole who is God. There are more scriptures that could be added to help you out; but I think you've made a pretty good case already.

Stay strong and stedfast in your belief and don't be deceive your belief is correct, and God's word backs you up!
Every scripture you provided was beautiful and correct; keep up the good work!

Aslamo_e_Alaikum
Look Dear sister u asked that is Jesus God? The answer is that no. Jesus is not God. If u read Bible den u should know dat nowhere in the Bible it is written where Jesus himself says dat im the God n worship me. Regarding the other part of ur question if u ask that is the Jesus son Of God den dear sister we muslims prefer to say Allah rather then God u know why? because if we add a "s" to God den it becomes Gods which mean that there are more then one God. we all know dat there is only one God. He is neither the father nor the sun of any one. Neither He is Male or female.
Another thing which confuses people is dat the Bible has many versions n is written by many Christian scholars u dont know which is authentic one.
if u want to know whats the truth i suggest u should read the Quran. Because there is only one version of Quran n dats the final n authenitc. please try to read it n by the blessings of Allah u will be able to know everything about the world n the religion.
Hope u got answer of your question clearly
May the peace n blessings of God be upon you

So, we should Carefully examine exactly what God Inspired to be written in the First place -- in spite of the myriads of changes that men have made (including insertions & deletions) in many of their various renditions of the Bible, since then. I believe Jesus in God incarnate. I believe he is the same God of the Old testament. I believe in a trinity to some degree but have trouble dividing God into three. I see God as performing different roles but being one God. We may not understand if he's three in one or just one until he returns. It is confusing. People believing in the trinity do still essentially believe he's one God made of three different parts or a Godhead all of them being equally God. Most people don't believe in a doctrine that I wonder about called oneness. You have to study and prayer to figure out what you believe. I've been a Christian for years and still have questions. I guess it really doesn't matter a whole lot as long as we worship the
Yahweh in the name of Yashua (Jesus). We can't be saved except through Yeshua and maybe he's not offended if we do choose to see him as the one and only God apart from the trinity. I can see how being omnipresent he could be the only one. His ways are higher than our ways. Alot of things I used to think the Father did in the old testament turned out to be the same Yeshua that died for us. It's confusing. Most do believe in the trinity and that is also possible with God. It may be ththat we're not suppose to understand totally.

Really. Can you please tell me the verse that states Jesus is God? Because I can show you verse where Jesus addresses God as my God, meaning Jesus' God is not Jesus or the Holy Trinity but simply God.

If you want to believe in the Holy Trinity, go ahead. Your belief does not need any more help. But if you search the scriptures, you will find that Jesus talks about "your father and my father, your God and my God." This does not support the notation that Jesus is God.

No the man Jesus is not God and there is nowhere in the bible where it speaks of a trinity
ST.John 4:24
24) God is a spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in the spirit
We believe that god created the man Jesus and manifested himself in the flesh, but God never became a man
Question was God born
Numbers 23:19
19) God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man. that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good.
So no God did not become flesh

There are many scriptures quoted here but I did not see the one where God gives the title of "God" to his son (Jesus).
Hebrews 1 is speaking entirely about his name (title).................
Verse 8: But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.
In this verse alone shows that God Almighty is calling his SON.... GOD..... If this is not proof enough of "Jesus Christ" being "GOD the Son" then there is no answer that can be given to satisfy anyone.... but then again, scripture was not meant for everyone or else it would have been written in a more simplyfied way.... Instead it was written through the inspiriation of God in such a way that only through the Spirit of God can the understanding of the scripture be given.
