Lets say you are walking along in a lab and there is a fire. You now have to make the choice of saving a dish containing five human embryos or a one year old baby what would you do? The five embryos will develop and grow into a child if given the chance.

Wouldn't the five enbryos being from a human out weigh the one baby?

"I hate Bush" Now that is a good answer I can relate to.

If you save the embryos they will live 100%.

And the embryos are some how alive by some amazing piece of technology.

And you can only take one and only one. This is a question to see what you would do. If you say the baby and not the embryos you contradict yourself badly.

I would save the Living child! I am pro choice abortion is not murder! Murder is the killing of a living thing not a seed! I have had 2 unplanned pregnancies and had the babies but I understand why a woman might have to choose abortion!

1) I would wonder "Why am I walking along in a lab?"
2) I would think "Why is this boy in the middle of a lab?"
3) I would grab the 5 embryos in the dish.
4) I would grab the boy.
5) I would leave.
6) I would continue to ponder "Why was I and this boy walking along in a lab?"

Edit:
If the embryos are being kept alive solely by a machine that I cannot take, then that solves the whole problem. Leave the emryos and they die. Take the emryos and they die. Not much of a choice.

What are you pro clone, why are there five human embryos in a lab dish. Your not playing with a full deck if you think the 1 year old already delivered baby doesnt have a right over a dish of cells. i also happen to think every baby born has the right to be wanted and desired and to have appropriate parents, not just to be born because some ignorant anti abortionist says he has to be. God made the soul you can't kill that. I bet your pro capital punishment and pro war like all you anti abortion hypocrites are.
Hey you better never masturbate, thoses seeds that get spilled are all potential humans. Maybe the state ought to take every womens eggs before her period washes them ought there all potential people. I mean overpopulation that will kill the world isnt reallly the issue here is it. Its the quality of life whoops I meant the quality of ignorance your really fighting to defend huh?

well this on is tuff but yet its not i would get the baby the one year old that is because for one the child is completly developed , at the same time i would try to get the embryos , seeing how there so small i would be able to get all of them and the child but i only had a chance to get the child i would take the child cause i would never be able to forgive mty self for not taking the one that is screaming and yelling and afraid , and if i took the embryos where would i place them sence u said there in a saving dish , do they need to be frozen etc , i dunno , , i am against abortion no matter what unless its rape insist or risking the childs life as well as the mothers life

A] Human embryos detached from their life-giving source are presumed to have been aborted and have expired. Therefore save the live baby.

B] If it so happens that the five human embryos are deemed to be alive --miraculously, I imagine-- then what's so difficult in saving BOTH the baby in one arm and grabbing the dish in another hand??

How many more permutations and combinations do you need to ascertain whether or not you'd DO EITHER ONE anyway [i.e., have the heart to SAVE human life] ...should the occasion REALLY happen to you??

The children in the dish will not survive anyway. I would help the child. WHAT IS A 1 YEAR OLD DOING IN A LAB ANY WAY?? That would be illegal. Sorry but this is a pretty 'bad' analogy. I guess you have no idea about the millions of women missing from the Chinese and Indian populations....

**********A BETTER QUESTION WOULD BE: WHO SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LIVE? BOYS OR GIRLS? ABORTION IN OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE BEEN AND IS STILL BEING USED FOR FEMALE GENOCIDE...

**********SHOULD WE BE ALLOWED TO DETERMINE WHICH GENDER IS MORE DESIRABLE AND USE ABORTION TO GET RID OF THE ONE WHO ISN'T??

*********IF WE ABORT THE MAJORITY OF GIRL EMBRYOS WOULDN'T THAT HELP WITH SHAVING DOWN OUR POPULATION SIZE?

*********WHY WOULD FEMALE GENOCIDE BE ANY WORST THAN ABORTION? THEY BOTH REDUCE THE POPULATION????

**********NOT ALLOWING FEMALE GENOCIDE WOULD BE AGAINST OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO CONTROL OUR OWN REPRODUCTION...SO WOULDN'T THAT BE A BETTER WAY TO REDUCE THE OVERALL POPULATION OF UNWANTED CHILDREN??

*********WITH FEMALE GENOCIDE, WOULDN'T YOU HAVE TO KILL MUCH FEWER BABIES?? SINCE THEY WON'T GROW UP AND HAVE CHILDREN?

********MANY OF THE WOMEN WHO HAVE ABORTIONS HAVE HAD MORE THAN 1****

******ABORTIONS SHOULD NOT BE A BIRTH CONTROL METHOD******

---------Abortion is NOT a simple "pro" or "against" type of 'question'. You are GROSSLY simplifying the debate. There are MANY other problems that arise from this 'simple' act that you are overlooking. Now whether that has been done on purpose or is accidental is something only you truly know.

Here is something else to think about. Most Pro-Choice supporters believe that an embryo is not human because it cannot survive on it's own. All will agree that killing a one-year-old is murder. But how many one-year-olds do you know can survive on their own?

With all the restrictions you keep adding to the question, I think my simple mind would become so confused I'd probably die in the fire as well.

How old are the "embryos". Anything less than 6 weeks is not alive, so Id save the baby. But Id be REALLY pissed at her parents for leaving her alone in a fertility lab.

This question is retarded. Why could you only take out one? You have two arms right? How are the embryos on a dish alive? They wouldn't be. Answer: take the one year old child and wonder who the crap was stupid enough to keep a one year old live child unattended.

I would save the baby because the embryos may not live, but the baby is already developed and living.

Whats this question have to do w/abortion? There would be no choice b-cuz there areso many different birth control methods on the market there should be no question as to whether or not abortion should be legal. If there is a problem w/a fetus,a life or death situation, rape,or incest. termination of a pregnancy should,in that case, not be considered an abortion. As far as choosing between a 1yr. old and five fetuses, why can't you grab both baby and dish?
