how should we know?
why cant you all just get off the dang computer & take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor's to see if u are?
The people on yahoo answers arent pregnancy tests
its not that hard...by a home pregnancy test at the store.

You have an extremely good point. I've noticed that people ask....can I be pregnant...do you think i am....how do i know if i am....And then i read the answers to all those questions. And every person says GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!! And yeah.....going to the doctor is the best way. because they will tell you yes or no...where as an at home pregnancy test is a lot of the times wrong. Next, when you go to the doctor...its stricly confidential!! So...there realyl isnt a reason to be scared to go there....Its your medical records...they can deny you of needing medical assistance in any way. and they cant go off calling mommy and daddy....thats completely up to you. The doctor isnt there for your relationship with yoru boyfriend, or your parents. The doc is there for the baby. So, anyone who asked the question of AM I, COULD I BE....-PREGNANT.....then realize going to the hospital is a better answer than any person for a computer could tell you!!! Cause everyone's body is different.

I think in a lot of cases, these women are scared because they might be pregnant (unplanned) and maybe they want to get advice from others before they go to the doctor. In many cases, these people are asking questions like this when it's still too early to test for pregnancy, and are looking for "clues" and what other people experienced during very early pregnancy.
Or, they could just think we're all a bunch of psychics sitting around with our crystal balls with nothing better to do. :)

i agree there are so many could i be pregnant questions on here go to the docter or to the store buy a test or go to a free pregnancy center that does free test or something
yahoo isnt a docter they dont

Because they are young girls who are scared, and more than likely do not have the resources to DRIVE themselves to buy a pregnancy test, or the money or the NERVE to go buy one without people knowing who they are and telling their parents.

why ask why butt out about why women come and do that has it ever occurred to u that they can get to their doctor right away or something is go in on to cause them not to be able to get an appointment with their ob and women on here know about that stuff. think before u act like a jerk with saying something ignorant like that.

Because they would rather seek sympathy from a faceless stranger sitting at the computer than deal with the harsh reality of life and all that goes with it.

People ask that question because they are young or afraid or hopeful.. It is just a question... to confirm in their minds if it is a possibility... I think they need encouragement or support.. Hope this helps answer your question.. :)
