So my boyfriend and I are talking marriage. We have been for some time. I've moved in with him and we're waiting until i get finished with my degree to get married, but we're not engaged yet. He has a tattoo in his ring finger. He was dating this girl like two years ago and got really drunk one night and had a ring tattooed on his finger w/ her initials on it. (it wouldn't be so bad if her initials weren't on it) The relationship he had with this girl was really serious. He bought her a ring and everything, but things fell through. He says he wants to have it filled in becuase it's cheaper and less painful than having it removed, but i really don't like it there at all and he knows that. (I got really drunk one night and started to cry and i told him that he still loved her and he didn't know who i was talking about until i pointed at his finger. urgh such a bad story :P) I know it's his body, but it still bothers me. Should I just keep my mouth shut or what?

Tattoos don't mean something's permanent. If you don't want the other girl's ring, you should tell him that. You could tell him you are superstitious - you are his woman, and are not comfortable wearing what someone else wore and would like something new, simple, it doesn't have to be expensive, no problem, a simple gold or silver band will do, thank you. Compromise so you get what you want and so does he. Realize he had a past even if you didn't and really think about whether you can deal with that because once you're married, there's no turning back. If you are serious about marriage, divorce is not an option.

i suppose any tattoo that does not have a exact which means or intent is a little bit needless.. principally if it is a established layout picked out of a publication. matching tattoos can also be disastrous.. as long as they keep near peers endlessly then all is good, but when they fall out, it is a steady reminder of the opposite individual. even though it's on their ***. and that i regularly suppose that tattoo's must both commemorate a designated time, or occasion. friendship is a first-rate factor to rejoice, however what does a four leaf clover ought to do with it? i suppose the IDEA of the tattoo is exceptional, however i suppose the layout might've been proposal out a little bit earlier than hand.. so long as they are pleased despite the fact that i assume it isn't important :)

Yes he should remove it, It's silly to have a tattoo of a b/f or g/f anyway because u always end up breaking up.

But for the love and respect for u he should have it removed.

let him cover it hisself. everybody should have a place in their heart for everyone they dated. dont be the jealous type and be known as the girl that was placed in his heart with jealousy all through hers. jus let him be happy with you and dont bring up past relationships it only messes up the mood in the relationship.
