need answers on if a doctor can refuse a ptient pian meds if the patient refuses surgury after having 2 surguries the doctor recomended patient has been threw 3 plus years of recomendations by doctor. surguries, spinaly injections p.t ect

Yes, a Dr. can refuse pain meds to any patient at anytime that he feels that they are not medically necessary.
They are not required to hand out any medication simply because you ask for it.

There isn't anything you can do legally about it except finding another Dr and getting a second opinion.

He can if he thinks that the patient has become addicted or dependent, also pain pills only mask the problem. Try some stretching excercise, accupunture or a physical therapist if you can, if not then seek a second opinion
