ok... the model that you have does not support usb connection. the simplest way would be to finalize the disc and then place it in the dvdrom drive of your computer.

Unless your particular camcorder allows you to save stills to a separate memory card then try the following:

Check with the manufacturers of digital video capture devices that you can plug into the computers USB port. Try searching for devices made by Plextor, ADS, and Turtle Beach. These devices will take your camcorder signal via the composite>USB cable supplied with your camera and digitize it for your computer to understand. Most of these devices come with software that you can use to convert moving image to stills and then have them processed into photos. Good Luck.
