I'm only 16 and all these guys r just 2 old 4 me and i don't even do anythin 2 attract them!!

Yeah, it's that thing in the movie "american beauty" , older guys can feel so accomplished if they do get with younger girls...like it can enhance their men ego or soemthing...
I do have the same problem sometimes, and I also meet guys that are just too young for me.....When I meet older guys, I mean way older, I normally presume "we are in different circles, no one should be attracted" and be friendly and respect them, but they sometime mistake this friendliness as "She might be interested" I'm like" dude, but you are sooooo old, why would you think I'm interested?' I know I'm not flirting or anything, sometime they can just get the wrong idea if I give them an eye contact....scary...

As an "old" man with teenaged daughters.... I think I can speak on this one. Alot of older guys.... 4 to 10 years older than you ... will probably contact you on the web. For alot of guys its that whole thing about attracting a younger girl... its shows they still have it. Us guys tend to mature mentally and emotionally slower than women. Just please be careful out here.

yes you do. you just don't know what you are doing. you speak to them is the first mistake you make. if you don't want old guys sniffing around, don't speak to them. speaking leads to flirting and flirting leads to sexual inuendo. old guys should not be hitting on 16 yr olds anyway. I'm not a real old guy but I don't speak to 16 yr olds unless they speak first. and I am very cautious what I say. so you gotta be doing something , maybe you are just a friendly person and they finally found someone to talk to them. good luck..

I guess an older guy can be a good thing since girls do mature faster than guys. As long as he's not over 17.

Older guys like to prey on younger women since they like to be in control and are insecure with a woman who is their age or their equal, and men like that are IMMATURE. Keep that in mind. You are probably more mature than them. Older men that pursue you have issues that you do not want to deal with. Avoid men like that.

I think most guys like younger women. Perverts, some of them. Others ok if its just a few yrs difference.

Well...I have talked to several girls thinking they were my age (20) and they were 14-15.
A lot of girls these days do not look their age!
