It means you are very smart. You should do well in school, without struggling with too much boredom or frustration. You also have the smarts to do well in life, and can pretty much take on any career you wish.
The average score is 100.
64% of all people fall between 85 and 115, or "average."
People between 70 and 85 are "borderline," or slower learners but NOT retarded.
People between 115 and 129 are "superior," or faster learners who can do extremely well, yet usually without feeling bored that often, in the regular classroom.
Only 2% of all people score below 70 (Mentally Retarded).
Only 2% of all people score above 130 (Gifted/Genius).

I am 11 years old. I got an 126 score on the IQ test. Is that good for a 11 year old? Or is it BAD?!?

I also have an IQ of 126, which does in fact mean you are above average, but not a real genius...but still you are top 10%, which is saying something; most important thing is emotional intelligence for success. Yes, I m a success, a retired US Navy commander, but it required a lot more than my IQ...very hard work and sustained effort to achieve my goals, still in a few ways I failed...life is more than just intelligence...a loving heart and kind spirit in the company of family and friends, instilling wisdom and temperance often helps you along the life continuum.

In reality it doesn't mean alot.
IQ tests are rather subjective. They vary in the way they are put together and there are quite a few variables.
I would say that if you scored 126 on a commonly used test put out by an academic institution THEN you could rely on the results a bit more and be assured you are a fairly intelligent person.
Many people will argue but it is my belief that 132 and up is genius.
Never forget though...its street smarts and just plain common sense that will get you farther in this life. And a healthy dose of humility and the ability to stick with your goals until you see them completed that will make you a success.

The average score is around 100. Yes, you are above average. Keep in mind that having a high IQ does not mean you have the right to criticize other people's intelligence. IQ is memory and coordination skills, not general knowledge. For example, a person who has higher IQ than you might actually not know what country that the US is fighting in.

I think average is a little over 100... though be wary of online IQ tests, they are not always very accurate. I took a paper IQ test and the tickle one and they were 25 points apart (and sadly I believe the paper one more, I am not a genius)

it means you are smart, the more answers you get right in short period of time the higher the IQ, the lower amount of answers in a longer period of time means low IQ and a dummy. your score is high and indicates smarts and intelligence.
I had to take an IQ test once and i was told i answered and figured out thing faster than any one they ever tested (where i was tested) but i was never told my number.
