A lot of scripture prophecy is written such a way that you can't see it ahead of time, but after it happens it is as clear as can be.

John 13:19, "From now on I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am He."

That doesn't make any sense. God promised to BLESS those who supported Israel and curse those who didn't. Beyond that, the prophecies in Ezekiel are strictly for Jews, the nation of Israel and Jewish people. Not for America. Not everything is about America. :)

Any type of literature can be interpreted into whatever you want it to say. We could both read the same poem which is supposed to be about recycling and I could say it was about ducks and you could say it was about global warming. It all depends on how you look at things, and it may be foretelling something else. You never know.

Yes I think it is in the book of Ezekiel as well

but here the book of Isaiah 30:25

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, river and streams of water in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

my question is. why do you think we were so slow to see it as you do?personaly, my thoughts get sluggish and slow to meet my present needs and i must depend on the insight of others to fill that gap in my
inability to live a self reliant life. I am not an island.

I haven't read ezekial... is he or Issiah the crazy prophet (the ones who cuts his beard and runs around chasing hair, and cooks over a dung fire), or was he the one who got struck dumb?

Sorry... I can't subscribe to apoclyptic prophecy.
