I have been friends with this girl for over a year now and she has just broke up with her boyfriend which she has been dating for about 8 months. The problem is that I have always had a crush on her. She is starting to hang out with me more and doing stuff with me. Do you think I have a chance with her anytime soon or should I wait until she gets over her ex. Also, any tips on how to get her to like me more? (Christian Type Girl, Nothing Dirty)

Well I have to say that if she likes you then you will know, but I would not push anything yet because, you do not want to be the rebound guy and get hurt. Plus you want to make sure that if it doesn't work out that you are willing to possibly give up your friendship because it might not continue after dating. I married my best friend ( you sound way too young for that.) I could not ask for a better husband or friend than what I have, but he did not ask me out for 7 years. Be patient, you have plenty of time, please do not rush her though because she will only get confused. Give her time and get to know her because I will tell you knowing a girl and being her friend ( if she is a nice girl that is) will go a lot further in life than some guy who is "just after what he can get" on the fly until someone "better" comes along. Sincerity goes along way when you want to date someone, so really get to know her, do fun stuff together, go to church with her ( you said she is Christian), walk her to class, do things that a good friend would. Most importantly, she knows you too so don't go trying to impress her , just be the guy she is familiar with and see where it goes, trust me she will let you know and in time you will know when to make your "move" so to speak. BE sweet and patient, obviously you respect her and she will love you for that the most whether you are friends or become more. I hope it helped, good luck!

well, its great that u get to hang out with her more... u need to know her feelings for u first before u go up to her... try flirting with other gals while she with u... if she gets jealous then ur in luck, if she gets angry ur in luck then as well... try brushing her off wen she wants to hang with u, after that find out where she hanging and go with another gal (someone she doesnt know) to the exact same place and act all surprised that shes there as well.. dont worry, then ask to meet with her the next day and dont be very surprised if she asks who the gal u were with was?tell her "a friend"... that will really make her mad with jealousy... her acting more like a boyfriend than a best friend... then one day all of a sudden tell her that u like her not as a friend but as a galfriend....

I think that you have a chance with her. But when you two are hanging out i think that you need to show her how nice, sweet, sensitive, caring, and fun you can be every girl likes a guy who can treat her with respect. If you want her to like you more you should respect her and show her that she is loved. If you treat her right then you definitely have a chance.

Don't pounce on her now. She needs to air out from the last guy. Let that thing leech out of her system then make a move. In the meantime, you are the pal and she'll see your great qualities slowly.

well if she broke up with him it wouldn't be much of a problem....anyways, take it slow because rushing into a bf/gf relationship can be tough to get out of and yea...just build on the friend relationship right now and in time it will go the way you want it...supposedly.

i think you should wait until she either says shes ready to date again or you see signs of it. if you wanna get her to like you more buy her a flower or chocolates do something sweet for her and im sure she will get the hint soon enough. and het if your brave enough and think that she might like you too and that your friendship could last it...say "hey i like you"
