I have been under a lot of stress and have gained 25 lbs. Can stress alone cause a shift in your metabolism or is it the stress that causes emotional eating that causes the weight gain. In any case...how do you control the stress so that you can lose the weight...and don't say exercize because I already do.

find an activity that relieves the stress, recognize emotional eating and replace it with a healthier habit, find out what is stressing you and do what you can to destress

yes stress can caues weight gain and loss too all i can say is go to the dr. and ask for some help there not much you can do for stress but see a dr for it

when yr stressed you dont realise it but you tend to pick more when eating all throught the day as well as the main meals getting bigger. this happens slowly without u realising it.
