What a funny question.

What liberals do and what the right wing extremist Christians do are totally different.

Extremist Christians believe everything they think is absolute truth and everybody else should believe exactly the same way.

Liberals insist that no individual or group of individuals has the right to demand that everybody believe the way they do.

If you take offense to being told you don't have the right to force your beliefs on others, that is a shame. If you honestly feel you have the right to turn your belief system into legislation, you don't deserve freedom at all.

I don't know many Liberals who have slaughtered gays, burned down abortion clinics and black churches, alienated people for not being like them, etc. Liberals, in general, do not believe in forcing anyone to do anything - that's the point. The ones that do? Well don't group me with them. At the same time, most conservatives are not hateful people. They are, close-minded (and don't take that offensively, I really think that's an accurate way to describe their adherence to traditional values). Liberals believe that there is more than one way to think of something, and though as individuals they may not agree, they still accept that as somebody else's opinion. Conservatives believe in only few ways of thinking of something, and as a result, reject a far larger amount of thought. In essence, the liberal agenda is open, and up for change as time and society changes. The conservative agenda wants to stay the same.

I guess most people do it. I bet some people are really offended by you implying that liberals aren't christians though. Also name some examples of liberals forcing their beliefs on others please. I haven't seen any laws outlawing hetrosxual marriage, or rules prohibiting people from wearing conservative clothing, or rules or laws forcing people to get tattoos, or piercings, or stuff like that. I will have rules like that oneday, but only to make a point, so conservatives can better see how I feel about the rules they make against me.

This is an intentionally loaded question. Obviously, liberals either do not in fact believe they are forcing their beliefs on you (like myself), or they simply believe (like many Christians) that their beliefs are the correct ones, and should be shared by others.

Drawing gross generalizations like these tends to compartmentalize people and stagnate genuine discussion.

Liberals are often christians. There is a whole groups people who classify themselves as the "christian left", christians who work against the war in Iraq, vote democrat, volunteer at hippy-esque organizations, etc.

What, and conservatives don't? You've got to be KIDDING me...

As I see things, it's the liberals who are much more for giving people the rights to decide things for themselves...you know, pro-choice, that sort of thing...how are they forcing their beliefs on people?

Why do you seperate Liberals and Christians? Texas is full of Christian Democrats. I would imagine a very high percentage of liberals consider themselves Christian.

When a person asserts a fact in the form of a question it is called begging the question and is a fallacious argument (in the form of a question).

When did you stop molesting your sister?

Unfortunetly, I think it is because liberals are closeminded to old fashion values. They seem to go against everything that is "normal" to others.
