No.

If those in the southwest spoke Spanish, and various Cities around Chicago and North Dakota spoke Polish, Russian and German, how would all Congressional representatives speak to each other, and how would the population follow the debate?

The language of the country is English.

Should a US town that is predominantly of German or eastern European origin require the official language to be that of its ancestors--no. Should a town that is predominantly 2nd or more generation hispanic be officially Spanish speaking, again NO, But if a location is predominantly 1st generation immigrants who have not have full complete time to integrate and learn English, maybe an allowance for translation should be made.

One language has a good purpose, a very good purpose. You need more education on this, try to study more.

no I think that they should speak our language. I wouldn't expect that if I went to another country and the community was mostly American.
