I feel so sad that people here are writing saying that gay people don't know love, that they don't really love their partners and that they can't tell the difference between love and lust. The people saying this are obviously people who have never encountered a gay person in their lives. If they had a friend or even acquaintance who was gay, they would see the love that gay people feel for their partners is THE SAME love that I feel for my boyfriend or that my parents feel for one another.
I know this is not really an answer to your question, but with so much lack of feeling for other human beings lives being exhibited to answer this question (and most other questions dealing with homosexuality), I can't help but feel what a sad world we live in, and how Christians, who say they want to spread love, actually spread so much intolerance and feel so cold in their hearts. It makes me sad, truly sad.

That's where the bigotry starts, I guess. I'm an atheist and a satanist who can say I have no problem whatsoever with sexual orientations.
Homosexuality is not a sin (sin is but perception), it isn't abnormal. Hell, so many animal species engage in homosexual and bisexual sex! Humans are one of the rare species having so few homosexuals. It's normal, and the intolerance is fear.
I won't go on a rant, right now, because Hell, I could go on for a long time.

It is adultery to have sex outside of marriage, as one person above describes.
And yes, homosexuality is a sin. As the Creator of the universe and as the Sovereign LORD, God sets the rules, not men. However, God sent His Son for a reason, so that all may repent from their sins and believe, and be saved and have eternal life.
I would feel like an idiot for having ignored God on that call. Yes, it hurts to be rebuked, but it's better than living in sin.
And love and lust are two different things. I love all people, men and women, but homosexuals lust after one another.
Bloody_gothbob: Actually, most animals that engage in "humping" with same-sex animals are usually doing it to express dominance, not for sexual purposes. There are several examples of this behavior especially in dogs, which "hump" to express dominance. They don't "hump" other dogs of the same sex for sexual pleasure. Besides, dolphins and humans are the only living things that really have sex for pleasure, which should adequately sum up a point about your case.

I'd just like to say two things. May he who is without sin, cast the first stone. And Judge not, lest ye be judged. Weather or not Homosexuality is a sin, Christians should lay off it, and focus on their own sinning.

It is sad that people can't mind thier own bussiness and let people live thier lives. It is no one's right except for God's (for all you Christians out there) to judge anyone. The world would be so much better if people would focus on preventing them selves from sinning instead of telling every one else that they are sinning. Love for anyone is better than hate for any one.

It is kind of funny that one must talk about the sin of homosexuality and yet every single one of us has done all sorts of sins. A sin is a sin. One is not superior to others. If one is going to talk about others sinning, but is that person themselves not sinless?
It's hypocritical, isn't it?

I would do what I was supposed to do so as not to be sinning. Homosexuals go against what God says. That is deliberately sinning.

I know it feels terrible and I feel sad that gays are the object of christian hate and bigotry.
The thing is, it's hardly personal. It's just that they have to hate somebody, and now blacks are out, and gays are in as the object of that hatred. Fundamentalist Christianity has nothing to do with love and the sad thing is that they don't even know what love is.
You are right to worry about them (I know I do) because when you get a bunch of delusional cowardly, bullies in a group, they can form lynch mobs, but you shouldn't really care what a bunch of child molesters think. Their cold self-righteousness is matched only by their amoral behavior. They are in no position to judge you in any way.

Hey I can. I am divorced, and live with my fiance. We have sex. It is a sin, and many church going friends will remind us of this often. My family does not approve either.
How does it feel? Im cool with it. I know its a sin, I choose to do it anyway. I accept the consequences of it. Irritating, sure, but I live with it cause I want to.

I am sure it's no easy thing for alot of homosexuals to deal with, but in the beginning God created Adam, and Eve was created as a help mate for Adam.
It was the way it's supposed to be, not male for male, or female for female.
