I would look in a totally different direction to get relief.

There is a one-time treatment Atlasprofilax that usually makes the migraine disappear - of course there is no guarantee.

I have experienced the amazing effects myself... :-)

Now, the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. And it's worth to travel a far way to make the experience!

First of all, there are 2 types of migraine. I have vascular migraines which mean it is tightening of a blood vessal that goes to the brain. When this happens, one side of your body loses control and you cannot speak, think or reason. this is what I have. Do not worry it can come and go for the rest of your life. AVOID STRESS. This comes and goes for all your life and you will never know when. My oldest daughter has it. The other is emotional, and my brother has it. The only treatment is take medication to make you sleep until it is over. It is more intense and it gives you more pain. It is a function of your mental stress. AVOID STRESS. What can I say, the same answer applies to both. I have had medication for both, but bottom line is dont let life bother you.

I suffer from them too. My doctor prescribes Fioricet and it works great. Because a migraine is caused by the dilation of blood vessels, my Doctor also suggested an ice pack on the area of the pain, The ice shrinks the swollen blood vessels. It does work. I don't know what you are taking, if anything, but if you are not seeing a neurologist, you really should. good luck and I hope you feel better.
