I think all parents should spy on there kids, now and days kids are doing stuff that you would never dream of doing. Look at most of the people one this sit, I see so many ?'s about 15 year olds being preg.

Go to his yahoo messenger, you have to have his password and everything. Most kids will have it saved you if you just bring it up it will log in. Then once you are in go to contacts, then message Archive. Of course if he has it turned off then you won't be able to see anything. But unless he actually turned it off then it should be on.

If anything, make him show you it. Your the parents he cant say no, and if he does then just take the Internet away. If you need the Internet make a password that only you know so that they cant get on the computer. Also, if they talk to people at other places, then you won't be able to read it. You can also go to the history in the computer web browser and see the sits he is looking at. You won't need a password for that.

Instead of spying on him - why don't you just talk to him? Let him know what your concerns are and talk to him. An open relationship with your son is better than spying on him.

you have to know his passwords and then go to contacts and look in his message archive, it may be turned off but you can easily turn it on w/o him knowing, he may not be doing as much as you think though

you could pretend to have a conversation with him and secretly read his IM's. I wised up to it after of few times of my mom doing it 'though.
