Rosetta Stone is the best!

Audio CD: Pimsleur ( http://www.pimsleurapproach.com/ ) is probably the best. It's very expensive, but most libraries carry the program so you can just borrow it. I haven't tried the entire set yet, but what I did listen to stuck very well, after only one session. It is audio only, but you can find sets of notes for it online.

CD-ROM: Rosetta Stone ( http://www.rosettastone.com/ ) is supposed to be very nice. There is a demo on their website if you're interested in that.

Neither course will make you fluent, but they should give you a good start.

cd sets do not exactly help learn a language. they just tell u what to say.
