I'm sure I read somewhere that it was. But it just strikes me as contradictory.

Yes, Jews are permitted to sell pork, as we see the prohibition as only that Jews may not eat it. There may be a difficulty, however, if the Jew were to sell to another Jew.

Oddly enough, pork is NOT the most forbidden food. Milk and meat combinations, such as a cheeseburger, are even more problematic. Not only may I not eat it, I may not cook it, sell it, or even give it away as a gift to a non-Jewish buddy!

That a old law, we all can eat pork now, why the Jew don't guess they are still living in the Old Testament, I think they still are waiting for Jesus Christ, which we know he has already come.

Thing is he died by the Jews and yet they still are waiting on him...Don't get it, but I don't want to, I know he has come....

The ancient Jewish law had basis in health issues. There are diseases that can be caught by eating improperly cook meat. The law is outdated especially since microwaves were invented.
As to the sale of it.......why not?

I use to work for suragadle which is a hotdog and ham manufacturer in ohio and the midwest the owner is Jewish , when they had a live slaughterhouse they use to get the rabbi to bless the meat. so i guess it okay

Could happen I guess, but I don't think they believe in eating it. If they did, I guess they would call it Kosher-oxymoron-porker. Sorry, all I could come up with right now, any ideas?????(pure-pig???, clean-sweein(swine)??? sorry, !!!!

pork isnt kosher to eat but it's ok to trade it...
