Waiting a year between High School and University is not a bad idea if you use that time to earn money to help pay tuition etc. It also gives you a chance to get out into the work-a-day world that can give you better perspectives on many of the classes you may be taking.

About moving in with your boyfriend. That is a choice you will have to make by looking at all of the facts related to your going to University as well as your boyfriend. For instance, will he support your decision to start university in the Fall or in a year? Does he want to go to university as well? would you be attending the same university? You may not wish it, but what if you became pregnant? What about your parents, what do you think their input would be about your moving in with your boyfriend?

These are but a few of the hundred and one questions you need to ask of yourself. In the end, you are the one that must make the decision as to what you want to do. Education is very important today. A woman who desires to educate herself and support herself needs to weight all the facts, not just the ones of her heart. If moving in with your boyfriend would lessen the chance of an education then you must be prepared to make that choice.

I am not going to say what should you do or if it is good or bad...ultimately it is up to you and what you see for your future.

ts not exactly bad.. but what does it do for you future... should something happen between the two of you where would you end up? I think that you shouldn't put your future on the line for somebody else at such a young age.. im moving over 15 hours away from all of my friends/family for college in just a few months.. so i plan on having a great time with them until then and then moving on with my life, making new friends yet keeping hte ones that i already have!

That's not bad at all. Just as long as you plan on doing something in the meantime, like working. If you don't know what you want to be when you "grow up", then to me there's no point in wasting your money taking classes you may not need (I took a full year of classes and now I'm switching my major). Just keep going with your life.

If you have the chance to go to college, you should go. As you get older, it becomes more difficult because you'll have more bills to pay, and possibly a mortgage, kids, etc. Some people who delay college never go.... I'd say to date your boyfriend but go to school. You won't regret your education.

No one can tell you whats right or wrong. But don't give up on your education for a man, but if you dont think college is for you, then thats a different matter.
