Alrighty, so i met a girl like 2 weeks ago, she isnt shy online, we basicly have started to date. But we went out together for the first time. (we been together in person before this) and she kinda walked behind me and was very quite. I know she is shy but, I didnt really have a chance to hold hands with her or anything and I did my best to keep a good conversation. I really havent hung out with her in person much before but should i just go right in and take hold of her hand and whatnot or should I takea different step. Please help cuz I find her very interesting and I don't wanna scew this up.

I don't get it why men want to hold hands so suddenly, and on the first date too. But anyway, that's just me and my morals.
So! If she's as shy as you say, then don't take her hand so suddenly; you might scare her. It should be a gradual process; get to know each other first, and she will soon feel comfortable enough to open up. The maybe after a few more dates, she'll let you take her hand.
Be a gentleman! Don't take advantage of her because she's shy! You're supposed to protect her.

I was shy when I was younger, and I always waited for the guy to make the first move. I suggest if you really like the girl, just take it slow. Little things matter the most. You don't need to make the big moves yet, just take your time. She will open up eventually, and you probably won't even know what to do when she does! You always have to watch the quiet ones...

Im assuming from the sound of it you're either in middle school or high school? Am I correct? She may just be extremely shy and has to warm up too you. I would give it time. Dont listen to your friends, if you like this girl...things will be fine. Just take it slow and the rest will fall into place. Good Luck.

your fear of screwing it up will screw it up. just do what you know you should do without all the thinking. if you feel like holding her hand, hold it. don't think about it , just do it. thinking will cause you grief. people think too much instead of feel. (that doesn't mean tell her you love her, that is a thinking thing, not a feeling thing) you are walking along pulling her leash, when she stops, reach back and take her hand because you felt like it, not because you wandered if she would mind and you havn't known each other and all that other background noise. do what feels natural. if you want to touch her, reach out and rub her arm. rule #1 don't look at the touching, always look in her eyes. if you look at her hand when you take it , it looks planned, like intentional, it will give her the creeps. always look in her eyes when touching any part of her. good luck

Maybe try talking to her online about it. If she is shy in person maybe she has some self-esteem issues. Give her time to warm up to you, maybe go out and do something friends would do instead of an intense one on one date. Sometimes that can be kinda overwhelming and hard.

ok first of all, that guy corey is a complete ***!! ok, yeah, i think that u should try holding her hand and if she lets u then ur good to go, juss let her warm up to you. she juss may be really shy because she wants u to make the first move and not her... GOOD LUCK to you.

Best answer: Ask her. Some folk don't like to hold hands, some do. Ask her and let her know that you care, and want to be there if she needs anything.
Thats what i do, and it has never worked against me.

walk up to her slowly take her hand watch her facial reaction when u do. plus smile at her. just let her know u would like to hold her hand plus let her know u will take it as slow as possible
