Shouldn't we be more concerned with the fact that so many billions of people have been born without them?

I promise you, if GOD's job security was based solely on his ability to make fully functioning babies with all 10 fingers and 10 toes, we'd be calling him GOD for the rest of eternity.

People gripe because that's their nature. I personally believe that God allows things to happen for a reason. I read about a 4 yr old boy who was dying of cancer. He had to have bone marrow transplants which are very painful. His mother told him the doctor had to hurt him to help him. As his doctor was doing the transplant, the little boy gasped through his pain, "Thank you for hurting me, Doctor." The doctor dissolved into tears. The little boy died, but he changed the lives of everyone he came in contact with. Actually, I never met him and he changed mine. Hope this helps.

Because it's god's fault.

If god is perfect, it's creation should be perfect. A SINGLE baby with a disability means god messed up. I consider the word god to describe a being that never makes a mistake. I suppose someone could worship a god that isn't perfect. If that's the case, I suppose your argument about babies being born with 10 fingers and 10 toes would be considered. Once considered though, even that wouldn't hold because there are babies that are born without 10 fingers and 10 toes.

There is a law and order in the Universe that we experience the fruits of our actions. If we put out harm, it comes back to us. There is a credit and debit in our karma. Having a disability is one way for the Soul to pay back the karmic debt.

There are various reasons why a Soul would chose to experience a disability in their life. It can also be to gain some strengths that one had a hard time gaining those characteristic traits while being perfectly healthy. It can be chosen to serve God as a way to teach people compassion, humility and service.

I sure wish I could understand just one thing those people have floating around in their noggins. It's hard for me to accept that there are SO MANY of them out there, so much simple-mindedness and so widespread. I had to accept it when an illiterate person was elected TWICE to represent our country. I've been freaked right out ever since. I just hope the "RAPTURE" comes soon and carts all of them away. Until then, best I get out of this category- it makes me too frustrated.

Adam let the Devil gain AUTHORITY over GOD's CREATION(EARTH and Star System) and the Devil can mess-up DNA over time. And the Devil has no mercy what-so-ever. And GOD sometime's get's the blame for these deformities.
When Adam changed God's, (from the CREATOR(LOVE) to the Devil(kill, steal and destroy) the CREATOR was effectively LOCK-ED out of HIS CREATION. This is the TRUTH.

Monotheism leads to Atheism. Maguyver above said some interesting things about the "devil" but I think the "devil" did his best when he created people but he's not "god" so animal creation is flawed like the creator.

If we can thank god for the sunshine, then we can blame him for the rain. It's that simple.
And tell the baby born with flippers for arms that god is almost perfect.

God created us in His image, that doesnt make us perfect in any way

the rain falls on the good and the bad, and it is because of sin

Why should anyone waste their time answering your questions?

You are not intelligent enough to choose the most accurate, the most thorough or most correct in any of your questions.

Maybe you should let the voters decide sometimes.
