I ask this question on the behalf of my best friend(19 y.o.). Her bf (19y.o.)broke up with her last nite stating that they cannot be together because their sex drive is too different. she wants to have sex once every day .He doesnt. He is ok with once a month..we also suspect that he doesnt like to be dominated in bed. and she is very dominating. Is that really possible that he dumped her cos of a sex drive? arent men supposed to be super into sex? is he bs-ing her about sex? is it just an excuse? They've been going out for a month and have been best friends for 10 years..everything was fine for the first 2 weeks (he was interested in sex and stuff couples do) but then...he just wasnt interested in doing anything with her. very passive. any ideas? what should i tell her to make her feel better?

Move on, she's too young to get hung up on one guy. I'm sure you've heard of the line, 'lot's of fish in the sea', well happy fishing.

Sounds like he thinks he has made a mistake, and just wants to go back to being friends. He probably thought he wanted that type of relationship with her and once it happened he either got scared or just realized it wasn't what he really wanted.
Tell ur friend that the problem wasn't her it's him, he was unsure about the relationship or he realized that they weren't meant to be bf and gf.Tell her that she will find someone very soon who will want to have sex just as much as she does. Keep her head up because when one door closes another is sure to open and it always a better one! Hope this helps her to move on and to not take it so hard, it wasn't her fault in what happened so don't worry about it. Focus on what's yet to come!

Sounds like he doesn't want her as a mate.

The sex was probably bad, from an emotional point of view.

Not to get emotional but the friendship was prob. stronger than
the attraction.

Also, no real man like to be "dominated" by a female.
Its simply not in his nature.
