Don't worry. If you don't have any milk now, you will get plenty when you deliver your bundle of joy. When I had my daughter, I had so much milk. Buy yourself a good breast pump to keep the excess milk off of you. Congrats!

Your milk wont come in until a day or 2 after the baby is born, but you should have colostrum already. Colostrum is the clear to yellowish color fluid that women get about 6-7 months. This is the stuff baby's nurse on until the milk comes in. Its full of nutriants and great stuff the baby needs in the first 24 hours. To see if you have colostrum in just press down slightly right above your nipple and some should come out.

Your body will not produce mature milk until after delivery. Your body is currently producing colostrum and will continue to do so for the first few days after delivery before your first milk "comes in". You do not have to worry about testing yourself to see if your body is making colostrum as it is a natural thing that most pregnant women produce. Colostrum is packed with healthy benefits for your baby and even if you can only breastfeed for a short time, it is good to do so.
Just a word of caution about pumping your breasts...the more milk goes out of your breasts, the more milk they will produce. Your breasts do not know the difference between milk that is taken from your baby nursing and milk you pump out for your comfort. The more you pump, the more milk you will produce. Engorgement (very full and painful breasts) can be eased some by using warm compresses or expressing some out while taking a warm shower. Using a breast pump before birth or any other preparation for nursing your baby are not necessary.

Don't pump your breasts now! The same hormone your body uses to "let down" milk is the same hormone that triggers contractions for labor (I believe it is called oxytosin). That can cause you to go into premature labor!!!!
However, you may or may not have colostrum (a very sticky almost clear fluid). Your milk won't come in until 2 or 3 days after you deliver. You can see if you have colostrum by putting your thumb at the top of your aureoles (your dark spot) and your index finger at the bottom pushing into your breast - little slowly bring your fingers together sort of in a gentle pinching motion sliding down your breast toward your nipple and until you kind of pull out on your nipple. That should express your breast to show you. If there is nothing there, that is no big deal at this point. It will come! Don't worry your body knows what it's suppose to do!

You don't have milk and won't until 3 days after birth. You may or may not have a clearish sticky fluid (colostrum) and that's normal. Don't worry about baby no need to supplement, he will be born with enough nutrition and won't take in large volumes of food for 3 days. Don't worry when you're milk comes in you won't miss it! In fact you'll get so much you'll wish he were triples. Good luck!

Just wait until after the baby comes. You probably have no milk now.
First comes the clear collustrum--pre-milk.
The milk comes a day or so AFTER the birth.

You dont actually have milk yet. In a few weeks before delivery, your breasts will start to leak a straw colored fluid called colostrum. This is what nourishes the baby unitl your milk comes in which is usually 2-5 days after delivery. Hope that helped!!

Your milk doesn't usually come through until you deliver, but you could try a breast pump to help things along, but it will only go along very little, because your body know when to deliver the milk.

Your milk hasn't come in yet, but it is possible at 8 months for you to be leaking colustrum. Hmm...how to explain this....Hold your left breast in your left hand. With your right hand, put your thumb above your nipple and your index finger below it. While pushing in on your breast with your fingers, pull the nipple out. If your have colostrum, it should form small drops on your nipple. Does this make sense?
