me and my fiance are 5 years apart and we get along better than me and my ex husband who is the same age as me why is that???

No. You get along better cause you both are on a closer level of maturity. My fiance' and I are 12 years apart and I get along with him better than I have with anyone else in my life. My ex however is a 1year apart and we couldn't get along to save our lives.

Well for me I am in the same situation. Its because mostly you can relate to the older guy more. Women tend to mature faster than men do. So the older guy just has more experience and knows what women want more.

I don't think it has anything to do with maturity factor, you just lucked out and found a man you are compatible with. Count yourself lucky... it happened to me too, and I have to say it is amazing.
