you could've came up with a better question. you risked 5 points for this. but she leaves the option up to you because maybe its somewhere she wants to eat at if not then she'll suggest somewhere else in a polite manner. why is there a semi colon in the middle of your question? your questionis not a complete question so therefore it doesn't need a semi colon.

Because she probably has no clue what she has a taste for and wants to see if your suggestion is something that she may be in the mood to eat. Or maybe she wants to get an idea on how far, or is it a certain place you are willing to travel to get lunch. My hubby has the same problem with me, and this is my reason. It frustrates him too.

What do you have? Is that the question, She just wants to know what she has to choose from. If you did not begin your inquiry with a selection, then the obvious question is asked. If you did not say where you are going to pick up lunch, the question is self explanatory.

As a woman there are 2 answers 2 this q.
#1 She's tryin 2 figure out ur price range and;
#2 She duzn't wanna order sumthing thats more fattening/larger meal than urs. This is typical behavior in new relationships.

It is a self conscience knee jerk reaction... fear of her choice being rejected or ridiculed. It's not something that most of us plan on saying.. it just kind of pops out... Once the female in question is more comfortable around you, and knows your likes and dislikes she will be more open and forth coming with her lunch decisions..
