It's not death that is glorious, it is Heaven that is glorious. Death is shameful and unnatural. We recognize that death was not meant to be, and that it is our own fault. Death probably is painful (not just what leads up to it.) Some say it is like a final stripping, a final cleansing. If it is anything like tattoo removal, it is likely to hurt. But, we brought it on ourselves. We are just well off that Christ has provided Himself as a remedy for it.

Death isn't glorious to all people. Perhaps if you are devoted to your religion, you will welcome death, as it will bring you to an afterlife closer to your god. However, if you aren't as religious, you may want to prolong the good times on Earth or avoid hell. Also, it's not the idea of not living that always gets people scared; it's the idea of how you're going to die. Dying often is painful and that pain can last a while. Thus, people might not be afraid of dying but be afraid of how they are going to die.

Fear of the unknown for most. Not everyone is afraid to die, though. It's not death itself that's glorious...it's being welcomed into the Kingdom.

It depends, most people are scared because they do not want to stop living, they are scared of what will happen now, on the other side, The Glorious side is that people know that they will die happy and that they lived a fullfilling lifetime

people are afraid of the unknown. It's what comes after death that they fear. Will they go to heaven, is there life after death? That kind of thing.

Death is not glorious....to the believer it is the transition from this worldly cursed kingdom to the heavenly blessed kingdom. The unbeliever is afraid because he or she has no Faith or is unprepared. Are you satisfied with your conclusions?

I can honestly say that I have no fear of death itself. I am however nervous of the way that I may die. I am also scared that I could die while my children are little.

We are here for a reason and I want to llive this life on earth too.

Not all are afraid of it, they just don't want to leave the people they are here with either.

Many people face death bravely.
