the amount of your car insurance is based on the type and model of car you drive, what type of insurance you want ( liability, full coverage ) and your age and sometimes the number of accidents you have on your record. Hope this helps you out.

That is too broad a question for the following reasons.

Car insurance is different in each state.
Car insurance cost more in large cities.
Car insurance cost more in areas of high accident and car crimes.

Car insurance is different for type of car and make and model of the car.

Car insurance is higher for people that have some accidents in recent years.

Car insurance is different price ranges for different car insurance companies.

Car insurance is different for different car years made.

Car insurance is different if you are male or female.

Car insurance is different if you are under the age of 25 and single or not!

Its all depends on your experience. Car insurance calculates the number of years you drive, and the numbers of ticket you receive. They also calculate your credit score too to give you the rate of the insurance price. So, you have to consider the options of the car insurance, but I would estimate around $400 for new drivers.
