Your buzz can play tricks on you. Ever get really drunk, lay down, and look at the ceiling fan? You get dizzy. Even after you stop looking at it, your brain will talk your body into throwing up, because it's convinced (finally) that you drank too much. But you were fine before you looked at it. And you stopped looking at it when you started getting dizzy... so, how come you spent ten minutes trying not to puke, and the feeling never got better? Because your brain was convinced you were sick.

Once you've had enough beer, you just kind of gravitate toward any addictive substance you've ever done. If you have smokes in your pocket, all of a sudden you're out of them, with no idea how you smoked so many in such a small time. People who smoke marijuana (a non-addictive substance) crave it when they're drunk. People who quit smoking will crave smokes when they're drinking, some start smoking again, some only smoke when they drink.

Your brain plays tricks on you when you're buzzed. Last night, I saw a heavy smoker go three hours without a smoke, Drunk off his ***. He just... forgot to have one. But, once I mentioned it, he NEEDED one. You have a one track mind when you get more than-a-little drunk, and he was focused on playing pool at the time.

Well, now that you've brought it up, it's midnight here, and I haven't gotten any bartime yet. Time to go.

Cheers!

I understand your situation, however I don't recommend you to convert. First, Islam is based on the 7th century Arabia. It has advanced a little. Cigarettes were not popular back then, so no wonder it is not haram. Technically, Quran only mentions wine as haram. But, scholars interpret it as drugs and alcohol nowaday to just make it sound more scientific. Go take some Cultural Anthropology and Ancient history courses at a community college. Alcohol consumption and Pork are taboo in many so called pagan traditions/cults. It has nothing to do with health. Everything we eat has some side effects. It's the ******** that Muslims come up to justify their stupid laws. All animals are technically dirty, go to a farm or a meat factory, you will be disgusted. If you think Christianity was a fairytale, I have to tell you that, Islam is no better than that fairy tale. It is like comparing Harry Potter with Twilight. Just because Twilight is newer and more exotic, it does not make it any better or the real fairy tale! There's really no true religion, if there was one, there would not be this many traditions. Religions are man made, to relief pain, answering depressing question with convincing answers, making profit, system of mass control.

The only thing that will help you keep your buzz is more of what you have been drinking

Nicotine will not only kill your buzz, but it will eventually kill you. Picture dragging around an oxygen tank with you till the end of your days. I don't think they allow the tanks in most bar rooms because they will explode when they get around lighters and matches. Think about it Nimrod.

since ive given up smoking i seem to fall over better. I do think the carbon monoxide soaks up the alcohol And besides you know you cant fall asleep whist smoking as you may burn down the place. But thats why smokers use matches!

Yes alcohol enhances cigarettes, and cigarettes enhance the alcohol. I'm not going to type a book report on it, but check out this site. It tells you what they do to each other and why, even statistics about alcohol and nicotine.
