McAfee.....once again...nobody will ever agree on antivirus. If you've gotten a virus with one program you will badmouth it forever. Fact is..you probably would've gotten the virus no matter what program you had. Just don't download dumb crap from sites you don't really know. And sometimes ones that you do. Just use common sense. I'm no computer whiz, but it's not rocket science. Use whatever program you want. The only one I've ever used is McAfee and I have never gotten a virus. But even if I do...chances are pretty good that it's my own fault for downloading something I shouldn't have. They are all there to serve they same purpose and none are 100% effective.
EDIT: I forgot to answer your question!!! I started to then went elsewhere. Answer is NO!

i think is AVG is poor program, and norton is the best antivirus program ever made.

It's great, and it's free, plus you can set it to download automatically, it works, and I can't say that about one of the two big companies.........

it works better than norton antivirus. you shouyld run it first then go here and use this as a backup http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ but you can run it online without installing it.

it is very good. it does automatic updates and is very stable. Hope this helps you. It is FREE of course.
