why does water have no flavor????

no additives - it's pure. It could have taste if you get it from the wrong place. IE- if you drink saltwater, it will activate your taste buds that taste salt - or drink pool water and see how that tastes

well technically water is natural so it is not supposed to have a flavor but due the natural minerals found in water from different parts of not only the UK but Europe some waters do have a distinctive palette to them .for example high in lime or sodium or even magnesium that's why bottled water company's advertise on their purity ,but in UK even tap water from different areas tastes slightly different as we have hard and soft water areas here.

water itself doesn't have much flavor, but minerals do. thats why distilled bottled water tastes different than Tap water! Tap water has minerals, like, iron, protein, etc. so it has a different taste! water doesn't have flavor most likely because of composed of, but i'm not sure.

now you can get spring water with fruit flavor essence to it, some of them taste really good!
