There are two recruit depots for men going into the Marine Corps. Parris Island in S. Carolina, and MCRD in San Diego, Ca.
Camp Pendelton, the home of the Ist Marine Division is up the coast a bit from MCRD. This base is where Marines, after boot camp, take advanced infantry training, etc. ITR for Marines graduating from Parris Island is at Camp Gieger, a training base near Camp LeJuine, N.C.
Officer candidates take their training at the Officers Candidate School in Quantico Va, or they can choose the navy or Marine Corps, prior to graduation from the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD.

All female recruits are trained at Paris Island
SC. Males from Illinois, Wisconsin,& Michigan
and west of the Mississippi River go to camp
Penalton in California. All males east of the Mississippi except the above named states go to
Parris Island. Fort Bragg is an Army post.

Women only go to Boot Camp at Parris Island M.C.R.D. South Carolina.
Men train at MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) San Diego if they enlist West of the Mississippi River. If they enlist east of it the are sent to Parris Island.

After Boot Camp, Camp Pendleton has Infantry Training Regiment (IRT)
Army has (AIT) Advanced Infantry Training

There are two. The oldest is Paris Island M.C.R.D. South Carolina. The other is Camp Pendalton M.C.R.D outside the San DIAGO area of southern California.

If you're talking about the US Marines it's Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
