My friend always seems to know stuff that I know I haven't told her. She once mentioned she was going to bug an enemies house of hers to hear what she says. Is she able to hear my conversations from her home or does it get recorded or does she have a device that she can hear only within a certain radius of my home? Any info would really help.

FOR ONE, I am NOT paranoid, I am an educated person asking a serious question. And I do NOT use any form of drugs. She was "caught" in my home while I was working when I unexpectedly came home. That is what got my suspicions going. By the way my home is locked.

Why do people assume that you are the one with the problem when someone is messing with you? Spy devices are getting to be inexpensive. If she is sick enough to break into your house when you are not there she could simply be using a voice activated recorder, and then changing tapes when you are not home. She is the one who sounds paranoid to me. Trust your gut feeling and get as far away from this person as possible. I dated a guy who was a private eye and after we broke up he used me to train people for a while! Good luck.

First of all, why would your friend do this? Does she have access to your house when you aren't home, so she could plant something? There a bunch of web sites out there, and Radio Shack where listening devices can be bought. But why on earth would she go through the expense (lots of $$$$) of bugging your home.
Anyway, go look in your attic for anything unusual, like a transmitter. If you don't have an attic, look around your house for anything out of place, where a transmitter could be hidden. What will it look like? Anything! Just look for something out of place or unusual.

aside from the fact I think your paranoid, this is what you do. Pretend your talking on the phone and start talking about how crazy you are in love with this woman, just have fun and go on a couple of rants. Obviously 1)she brings it up, you got and issue 2) she avoids you, you had and issue and now it's resolved. Look on the web for bug sweeping technology

your friend may have got a short range device which uses a standard AM/FM radio as the receiver. these "bugs" come from electronic mags and are novelties. You might be wise to get your home "swept" just to see and give you peace of mind
