Help, I need a name of a file restoration software, that is free and that will restore my lost files on a cd-rw? Help, please!

I didnt save them on my harddrive, just directly to the disk, so any free cd-rw restoration software "names" would greatly be appreciated or links for sites, that have downloads

That's going to be difficult! Most recovery programs can undelete files that were stores on the Hard Drive. I use TuneUp Utilities 2006 which is excellent to give proper maintenance to your computer, plus it has the "undelete" or recovery utility. Unfortunately it ios NOT free, but it comes with a 30 day full-working trial.

Hey there.. i had this happen on a hard drive and thought i lost all my stuff. But i found this free program called testdisk. It can recover everything unless its been overwritten already . Which i doubt you did right? well heres the link: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

I don't believe there are any that will recover from a CD Good Luck with that

do you have your cdrw software or drivers. if you reinstall it.
