I can't stop drinking it. Quitting smoking was much easier than trying to quit drinking Mountain Dew.

Yes, I'm addicted to Diet Moutain Dew. Caffeine is addictive. I've been drinking it for 18 years. A guy introduced it to me when I used to work in a plant. I never liked coffee and neither did he. He told me that Mountain Dew has more caffeine than a cup of coffee. Since that time, I've always started my day with a can of Mountain Dew. I have cut down, but can't give it up.

When I travel I always take some with me, because in some places Diet is hard to find.

Ummm...Hello. My name is Dew Drinker and I am here to admit that I have a problem. No matter hard I try, I can't stop drinking Mountain Dew. It's got a hold on me and won't let go, l didn't know what to do, so I joined MDA (Mountain Dew Drinkers Anonimous). I really hope these meetings will help me overcome my addiction.

I used to drink about 3 two liters of Mountain Dew a day. then my heart started palpitating.. I went to the doctor and he told me that it was all the caffiene in it. It has more than coffee. I tried quitting cold turkey which let to severe headaches... I found that if I drank tea or something with a LOT less caffiene in it, it helped me quit all together. I havent drank anythink but water for the past month. I feel a whole lot better AND have lost about 10 lbs!!!

By no means addicted, but I have found it to be the only one of the sugared sodas to actually quench a severe thirst! Still I'd prefer water or my favorite carbonated beverage - club soda or
seltzer water.
