After serving 28+ yrs (10 on active duty in the Air Force, 8 in the Army Nat'l Guard and 10 in the Air Nat'l Guard). I can honestly say I enjoyed serving in the Air Force more.
What you need to do is ask each branch ( recruiters are only enthusiastic about their branch), what their mission is and what that means for you as a potential enlistee/officer. Next, find out about career advancement and training. Ask as many questions as you can think of.
Personally, if I had to do it over again, I would probably do exactly what I did in 1970 - Join the Air Force.

Try telling that to an Air Force Special Tactics Squadron, or all the PJs & Combat Controllers serving with Navy SEALs, Army SF (green berets) or Delta force.
It is a great place for men & women alike though. Treat their people very well & offer many excellent opportunities.

Its for women and men. If I were to go into the military, I'd choose the Air Force.

Nope, I have met lots of great men who served in the airforce. Just don't tell my brother in law I said that, because i am former Navy. Airforce offers great training for people, and women and men both benefit from that.
